Fahrenheit 32 Cologne by Christian Dior, Fahrenheit 32 is a smoky cologne released in 2007. The scent is sweet and aromatic with smoky incense notes that settle at the bottom. The opening accords are floral iris, rose, violet and orange blossom. The heart contains the dominant note of vetiver, and the scent of vanilla rests in the base. This fragrance was designed by perfumers Francois Demachy and Louise Turner.
Christian Dior was born in France in the early 1900s. He worked in the fashion industry for a variety of designers until 1946 when he launched his own original fashion house. The house of Dior soon became an international giant in the world of fashion design.
Dior was known for designing the “New Look” of voluminous dresses for women that emphasized the natural curvature of the body. This provoked a global shift from simple, conservative styles to more energetic and exciting designs. Dior eventually extended its product line to include fragrances and cosmetics.
